E4 established strong environmental standards for Best Buy Consumer Electronic Event recycling from the start of the events program in 2001. In the last several years, there has been increased attention to electronics recycling and the issues of proper recycling of these produces. Long before these issues were common news items, E4 helped Best Buy put environmentally responsible recycling in place for their events. While other private corporations have faced public scrutiny and outcry because of their recycling choices, E4 was able to help Best Buy design and events program that would be a strategic advantage and result in positive outcome for the corporation.
